Monster Hunter World is the Fastest Selling Entry in the Franchise

If you're anything like me then you probably spent copious amounts of time in Monster Hunter: World's character creator in order to make your character absolutely flawless; meaning that you were likely equally disappointed when your hunter still didn't turn out quite the way you expected - especially if they were female.

Whatever your thoughts are on Capcom or Monster Hunter World, there's no denying that the game has moved 5 million in shipment and digital sales.

"Much like in the new Monster Hunter: World game, we through it was only right that the scale of the reward fit the task at hand".

The Monster Hunter series consists of hunting action games that pit players against giant monsters in a attractive natural environment. They have also said that Monster Hunter World is the fastest selling entry in the franchise. Yes, the franchise has always maintained a loyal fanbase, which it well deserves.

Beginning in the spring of 2018 Capcom plans to hold qualifying events in seven areas across Japan leading up to the Monster Hunter: World Kariou Playoffs, which will determine the top hunter in the country.

In an odd effort to promote the launch of their already successful Monster Hunter World, Capcom has revealed that they're offering £50,000 to anyone who can offer evidence of real-world monsters such as Loch Ness and Big Foot. They managed to move 5 million units in shipment and digital sales combined in three days. A PC version is to be released at a later date. The UK games chart numbers are in for last week, with Monster Hunter beating out all other releases.
