Launch trailer released for Metal Gear Survive

You can purchase Metal Gear Survive from the Microsoft Store for $39.99.

To make a new character (and effectively a new game save) in Metal Gear Survive, players either have to delete their existing avatar or pay 1,000 SV coins.

This second open beta was first announced last week and is scheduled to last up until February 18. Up to three other players can join your game to explore the world and complete missions with you. In addition to that, Konami is offering special daily missions for the duration of the beta. There's additional information, including everything you need to know about the game's online requirements and more at the official site.

Metal Gear Survive will be released on the 20th of February in the North American region.

Definitely more action-based than Metal Gear Survive and considerably less system-based, WWII's Zombie Mode is worth your time purely for the fact it is the fourth iteration and therefore much more polished and streamlined. Set sometime between the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear Survive has players transported to an alternate reality infested with crystalline zombified-like known as "creatures". Konami has confirmed that it will require a constant internet connection to play because of how it handles transitioning from single-player to multiplayer sessions.
