It is expected that issues regarding the upcoming Arab summit in Saudi Arabia in March will also be discussed.

The meeting touched on ways to enhance various aspects of the two countries' relations, primarily economic and investment cooperation.

"El-Sisi and Bin Salman's discussions conveyed agreement on regional issues and on combining efforts to seek political settlements to the existing crises in the region's countries to end the humanitarian suffering of its people and preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of nations", Rady concluded.

Sisi said the security of Gulf countries is closely related to Egypt's national security.

The crown prince is scheduled to leave Egypt to Britain on March 7 and later visit the United States, the kingdom's closest and strongest Western ally.
