Bride arrested for DUI while driving to her wedding

Marana, Arizona police say a bride-to-be was taken into custody on Monday morning for driving under the influence.

It is not known whether Young has an attorney who can comment on her behalf.

Sgt. Scott told Law&Crime that the 32-year-old bride caused a three-vehicle crash at an intersection in the city of Marana.

Young was arrested and released without going to jail after submitting to a blood draw, Scott said.

It's unknown whether Young made it to her wedding.

One person suffered minor injures in the crash, according to Scott.

Scott used the occasion to issue a warning about staying off the road when impaired, "Till death do we part doesn't need any help", he said on Twitter.

Amber Young was given a criminal citation for DUI and after initially refusing to a breath test, she consented to a blood test.

It is not clear of Young arrived to her wedding on time after the accident.
