Marvel-themed lands coming to three Disney parks in 2020

This will join the Iron Man Experience, which already opened in 2017.

Disney representatives released a short flyover drone video earlier in March showing the construction of the new Star Wars land at Disneyland. That's the second park at Disneyland Resort, right across the esplanade from the original Disneyland.

Over in Paris, there'll be a new Marvel-themed area that'll include a ride with Iron Man and the Avengers, which follows the news from February that Disneyland Paris" Rock "n' Roller Coaster will be "reimagined as a high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure", in addition to a Marvel-themed hotel called Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel, also arriving 2020.

Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products shared a sneak peek at highly anticipated new areas coming to Disneyland Resort in California, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland, inviting guests to become part of a bigger universe filled with epic adventures. The blog states that Spider-Man and The Avengers will create a completely immersive Super Hero experience, which suggests that Spider-Man will not be included in whatever Avengers-themed attractions are opening.

Disney's theme parks are about to get a lot more Marvel superheroes. Favorite heroes will take the stage for a brand new, live-action production featuring cutting-edge special effects and spectacular projections.

Hong Kong Disneyland has already started its Marvel-themed expansion plans, which will include a new attraction where riders can team with Ant-Man and The Wasp.

In an expansion that is estimated to take several years, Disneyland Paris will add a new attraction in which guests can team with Captain America and other Avengers.

An attraction in Hong Kong Disneyland will allow guests to tag along with Ant-Man and the Wasp on a journey.
