Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students arrested

One of the students nabbed at the Florida high school where a gunman slaughtered 17 people hid a knife in her bra and pulled it out during a fight, police said.

Trespassing is a misdemeanor that usually involves only a $25 bond.

"I did everything I could to warn law enforcement about [what] could happen", she told reporters in a news conference with celebrity attorney Gloria Allred.

Zachary Cruz had a bond hearing Tuesday, and a judge set bond at $500,000.

Broward Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie tweeted out, "Security at Marjory Stoneman Douglas continues to be an urgent priority for us".

The student arrests and sheriff's deputy suspension comes one day after Zachary Cruz, the brother of accused mass murderer Nikolas Cruz, was arrested for trespassing on the school grounds. Corcoran, who said the commission will serve as "a model for the nation" also tapped Gualtieri; Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd; Bruce Bartlett, 6th Judicial Circuit chief assistant state attorney; and Auburndale Police Chief Chris Nelson.

She said the first time it was after her mother found a receipt for a newly purchased rifle and ammunition in Cruz's room.

Now, as the community comes together and moves on in the best way they can, we have another trip up from the Broward County Sheriff's Office: they suspended another deputy who was sleeping in his patrol vehicle near Marjory Stoneman. He also admitted to bullying Nikolas as children and wishes he was "nicer" to him. "Zachary wishes that he had been "nicer" to his brother" and that there may be resentment between the two "as Nikolas may have been the favored brother". The Broward Sheriff's Office wants him barred from possessing firearms and also involuntarily hospitalized for a mental health evaluation under a state law passed after the February 14 shooting spree that killed 17. In October 2016, she saw a number of guns in Nikolas Cruz's room she described as military-style, and became concerned about him and the weapons. Panel members also include Corcoran appointee Max Schachter, whose 14-year-old Alex was among the slain students and who tearfully pleaded with lawmakers to take action following the shooting.

Cruz and his brother, Zachary, moved in with Deschamps after their mother died of pneumonia in November. Deputies say one image showed him with a gun in his waistband and the other showed bullets. She called 911 on three separate occasions.

Nicholas then left definitively from Desbab's home to settle in Sidd's house, a couple living in Parcland, a few weeks before the massacre at Martzari Stoneman Douglas. Prosecutors have said they will seek the death penalty against the 19-year-old.
