Former Disney Star Caroline Sunshine Joins Trump Administration

White House is not done with the hiring and firing yet.

Caroline Sunshine, 22, will join the White House as a press assistant after serving as an intern.

White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters in a statement to CNN said, "Caroline Sunshine was a White House intern".

The statement continued: "Prior to her internship at the White House, Carolina interned for the Office of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the College Republican National Committee and the California Republican Party".

Sanders has claimed she has answered questions surrounding Daniels and the lawsuit "extensively" but the White House has yet to answer whether Trump was aware of the payment.

Sunshine is the latest member of the White House staff with experience in cable television.

United States president Trump hired other staff with cable television backgrounds; CNBC host Larry Kudlow hired as head of the White House National Economic Council and so on.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted earlier in the day that he received a message from Xi Tuesday night that the meeting "went very well" and that Kim is looking forward to his meeting with Trump.

In her new appointment on the White House payroll, Sunshine joins the esteemed ranks of former TV and entertainment-industry talent including but not limited to: the inimitable and recently-ousted Omarosa; Gossip Girl book series model Hope Hicks; former Project Runway and Celebrity Apprentice guest judge Ivanka Trump; and her father, 45, who needs no introduction. She had a recurring and later main role as Tinka Hessenheffer, twin brother of Kenton Duty's Gunther.

E! News reported that Sunshine also appeared opposite Owen Wilson in the 2010 movie "Marmaduke" and in the 2017 Lifetime movie "Mommy, I Didn't Do It". The show aired from 2010 to 2013.

She is also a theatre artist and was a part of Annie Warbucks at the Orange County Children's Theatre, The Nutcracker at the Academy of Dance and South Coast Performing Arts, and Stage Door at the Lutheran High School of Orange County. Last year, Thorne was also criticized for a racist comment, Insider reported.
