Joshua: If Wilder Will Come Here Next, I'll Knock Him Spark Out!

Joshua: If Wilder Will Come Here Next, I'll Knock Him Spark Out!

"Joseph did get himself into a position at different times to take that fight but he was unable to pull the trigger", says Mike Angove.

Boxing commentators Mike Angove and Colonel Bob Sheridan weigh-in on Joseph Parker's heavyweight loss to British champion Anthony Joshua.

Speaking on Joshua's performance, Bellew said: "It reminded me of Lennox [Lewis], the way he used to defuse fighters and use his advantages to his advantage".

"Joseph played a massive part in this, his whole team did and I'm honoured to share the ring with him", he said.

While Parker's promoter David Higgins suggested fans would "demand" a rematch, Hearn was quick to hose down the idea as an ultimate unification bout against American WBC champion Deontay Wilder looms for his charge.

Both men are fiercely proud of their familial heritage as well as the countries of their birth: Joshua bears a tattoo of Africa on his right shoulder while Parker was led out by his two uncles in traditional Samoan dress.

Joshua's superior reach and jabbing prowess ensured that Parker remained on the back foot in round two, and there were also signs of the Kiwi having a bloodied nose.

Whyte (23-1, 17 KO's), 29, defended the Silver title last week when he easily dismantled former world champion Lucas Browne with a brutal sixth-round knockout.

Anthony Joshua jokingly imitated Dillian Whyte when he was asked Saturday night who he wants to fight next. Everyone here knows me better than that.

Joshua won his first three belts by stopping Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko at London's Wembley Stadium in April previous year, with 90,000 fans celebrating one of the great nights for British boxing.

Joshua added: "That is 21 professional fights with six world title fights in it".

"I know Eddie Hearn has a lot of bread, and he grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth, but it doesn't mean we got to march to his marching orders". He was the better man today and we will be back again.

"Wilder let's go baby, let's go!"

"Let's see what the future holds, I'm down for whatever, whenever". We are representing. Not just myself, but all the undercard fighters, all the other heavyweight contenders, down to the lower weights.
