Suspects in recent robbery gunned down in Angeles City

Three suspects have been arrested and detained by the police over last Sunday's dawn attack on the Sankore property of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Asunafo South, Mr. Eric Opoku. They have been charged with aggravated robbery under case reference 23/30/03/2018.

Once there, one of the suspects pulled a gun and robbed the victim of marijuana, money and a speaker, all of which police say they've since recovered.

At around 4:30 p.m. on January 22, police were dispatched to Close Knit yarn and crafts store, at 1630 Orrington Ave., on a report of an armed robbery.

According to police at the scene, an officer recognized the auto and suspect based on a description given from a robbery at a Subway restaurant.

The suspect was trailed by police after his victims, mainly women whom he had raped in the presence of their husbands, recorded statements and filled P3 forms at the station.

A pair of Williston residents, including one who is a suspect in a robbery in Williston, were arrested Wednesday after a high-speed chase that started near Berthold. Two days later, officers were searching for the Chrysler when they spotted Bell and another suspect - Kurterreon Wilson - in a 2015 Volkswagen Passat.

The suspect was reported to be pictured wearing a black Northface jacket, black trousers, and a black mask across the face. A second approached a male employee and demanded cash from his pockets while a third took about $300 from the cash register, the report said.
