The New York Police Department warned of traffic and road closures in the area.

"I just saw the FDNY and the fire trucks", he told CBS2's Jenna DeAngelis. In addition, he offered a collection of Warhol prints, including a 1967 selfportrait that travelled for about $601,000 at 2007. He was identified as Todd Brassner.

Despite his high profile beliefs, Brassner faced economic troubles in the last few decades and registered for bankruptcy, according to court public records received by the Post.

On Saturday, a fire was ignited at Trump Tower in Manhattan. "Very confined (well built building). Firemen (and women) did a great job", the president wrote on Twitter at 6:42 p.m.

Trump continued to tweet through the evening, but never again referenced the fire, and never referenced the deceased or the tenant.

Four firefighters were injured while putting out the fire, but their injuries were not life-threatening.

At a Saturday press conference, the NY fire department's commissioner Daniel Nigro, said that when Trump's family is at Trump tower, extra fire protection is maintained.

Asked if that assessment was accurate, Nigro said, "It's a well-built building. The top flooring, the residence flooring, are not sprinklered".

Trump Tower, considered the jewel in the businessman's real estate empire, was built in 1983 when fire sprinklers in high rises were not required by New York City law. "The @FDNY and @NYPD are truly some of the most incredible people anywhere", the younger Trump said.

'This was a very hard fire. "The apartment was quite large and 50 stories up", he said. While there was a "considerable amount of smoke", they have not yet determined whether or not the smoke reached President Trump's unit. 200 Firefighters and EMS members are on scene'.

"The fire is still not considered to be under control because of the smoke conditions on all the floors above".

"The apartment was entirely on fire".

No members of the First Family were present at the time, according to the Secret Service.
