Police also connected Riess to the murder of Pamela Hutchinson, 59, in Fort Myers two weeks ago, saying she was seen on surveillance video driving her auto shortly thereafter.

They were also working to review evidence, including a stolen white 2005 Acura that Riess was reportedly driving; it was located in the parking lot of the South Padre Island restaurant where Riess was arrested.

Fifty-six-year-old Lois Riess will be held in South Texas about Florida charges which include murder using a firearm in the Cameron County jail.

He had seen the seven-second video that showed Riess making the same gesture with her hair as she befriended a woman at an oceanside bar in Fort Myers Beach the week before.

Minnesota and Florida have 10 days to move Riess.

"She thanked me, she thanked me", Higginbotham said.

Riess went missing in March after her husband was found dead.

She was caught Thursday evening in Florida.

A Minnesota grandmother accused in a two-state murder spree will not fight extradition. Hutchinson was found April 9. Between April 7 and 8, Riess was spotted at casinos in Louisiana, including one where she hit a jackpot.

A cousin of Pamela Hutchinson called George Higginbotham. At this point in Minnesota she has been charged with felony theft for stealing $10,000 from her husband's bank account.
