Comic legend Stan Lee accussed for sexual misconduct by massage therapist

A Chicago masseuse is accusing Marvel legend Stan Lee of sexual misconduct. She has filed a lawsuit against Lee on Monday, claiming he assaulted her in his room at the Hyatt Regency during the weekend of April 21-23 past year, during the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, which he attended.

Carballo is seeking more than $50,000 in damages for each count and reimbursement for her attorney fees. A massage therapist named Marla Carballo filed the lawsuit against him.

Carballo switched to a shiatsu massage method, which uses only the masseur's feet, in order to keep her distance, the Chicago Tribune reports. After two refusals, the employer called her to say that Lee had apologised and that there would be no other incidents of that sort.

Lee has denied the accusations by way of his legal professional and vowed to struggle the lawsuit together with his legal professional claiming it is "a shakedown".

'The guy is 95, I don't think he would do that, ' Freund said.

She asserts the 96-year-old jumped up off the desk antagonised and demanded the session continued. Lee accountable for how he treated me.

This comes after the #TimesUp and #Metoo campaign, Stan Lee has been accused of sexual assault earlier by the Daily Mail to which Lee's representatives denied all allegations.

Carballo says that Lee was on his stomach for the first massage when she noticed he was fondling himself.

Carballo returned to Lee's suite to again provide massage therapy, the suit says, but after again massaging his quadriceps, "Plaintiff observed that Lee was once again moaning". She said he grabbed her foot and rubbed it against his genitals. Before she got on the elevator, Lee's assistant allegedly gave her a big tip in cash.

"He is rich and famous. I am not. After seeing other women fight to be treated with dignity and respect, I decided, 'Me too, '" Carballo stated. Even so, Carballo admitted that she still feels "nervous and afraid", though it had died down a bit because of the people who are behind her.

"Not long thereafter, [Carballo] told her daughter and best friend about what happened but was fearful that, in light of Lee's wealth and status, reporting the incident to the police would hurt her job", the lawsuit states.

Lee's partner, Keya Morgan, responded to the claims and said Lee was "completely harmless".
