Group video calling and stickers support coming to WhatsApp

"Now that it's easier to share straight to Instagram Stories, we can't wait to see what the GoPro community will post".

The next new feature is Video Chat.

According to Twitter users Jane Wong and Matt Navarra, the app could be getting four new features in the future.

The Instagram video chat feature is in a testing phase for now, with a global rollout coming soon. A spokesperson for Facebook told the Daily Dot that GoPro will have a sharing feature on Instagram while SoundCloud content will integrate with Facebook.

To start a video chat, simply tap the new camera icon at the top of a Direct thread. Users can chat one-on-one with another user or with a small group and they can keep the conversation going for as long as they want.

Video chats can also be minimised so users can continue browsing the app while chatting.

Facebook announced at its annual F8 developer conference on Tuesday a new feature that lets you share content from third-party apps onto your 24-hour videos.

It will work for both individuals and groups - and, you won't need to stop scrolling through your feed to have a video call. Instagram has also updated its automatic removal of negative comments and the platform will now delete comments that contain "attacks on a person's appearance or character, as well as threats to a person's well-being or health". Building on that success, the new Explore design is adding topic channels to uncover content on your personal interests and tastes as well as offer more control over content.

Instagram is launching interactive camera "experiences" that will allow users to grab snippets from other accounts and add them to their Stories. From there, they can edit and add to the Story or send it to a friend via direct messaging. This adds another way to share even when you don't necessarily have a photo or video to post. The app integration with Stories is now in beta. Later this year, you'll be able to discover and join new groups through the tab.

More apps will soon support the feature as well.

This will allow you to show others what you're listening to, for example, or action shots from GoPro.

Oh, and stickers are coming if you're interested in that sort of thing.
