Kevin Love cleared to play in Game 1 of NBA Finals

The Warriors had blown multiple leads in the second half but would not blow this golden opportunity presented to them as they ended the game in overtime, scoring the first nine points and eventually winning 124-114 to take a 1-0 series lead in the NBA Finals. Well, not the real KD, but a huge photo of him.

The Warriors defeating the Cavaliers to win their second straight title might already feel like a forgone conclusion, but there's still plenty of bets to be placed to help make the NBA Finals compelling for sports fans looking for an extra incentive to watch.

"Our relationship has always been a working relationship", James said.

James Harden had 32 points as the top-seeded Rockets' bid to return to the finals for the first time since 1995 fell short without Chris Paul, who was nursing a hamstring injury. "And then you know we come into the season, and our All-Star point guard that we got from Boston [Isaiah Thomas] wasn't able to play until January".

"I was trying to get enough (space) to bring it out to get a shot off", Smith said. "Now I have got to get into the postseason'".

"I thought I read that play just as well as I've read any play in my career, defensively", James said after the game. While he can do that, it's not necessarily wrong for James to stop taking that question after he gets it time and time again in slightly different formats. "I don't know what was going through J.R.'s head but he made a great rebound". But the thing was, Smith appeared to not realize the game was tied (after the game, he said he did, actually, know). Currently, the NBA Finals is at 56-56 all at halftime. While James was clearly outside the restricted area, officials also had the chance to review whether James was in legal guarding position and changed the call to a block.

Oh no. LeBron James reacts to a call late in regulation.

Love, 29, is averaging 13.9 points and 10 rebounds per game in the postseason. "And when I knew that, I was like, OK, that's going to be our ball". "I [had] seen the play happening. We've got three of the best shot-makers in the league. we stayed with it". Despite the chain of events, James managed to play all 48 minutes in Game 7, going the distance in a playoff game for the first time since 2006.

But here's what Cavs coach Ty Lue told reporters about the play during his postgame press conference.

The NBA Finals are now as much a part of James' calendar each year as birthdays and holidays.

"Just keeping our composure was big for us the entire series", Curry said.

"To do what he did tonight and come out robbed, it's just not right", Lue said.
