LeBron James compares Warriors to Patriots after Game 3 of NBA Finals

This is frustration personified. "That's what championship players do".

All-Star forward Kevin Durant told ESPN's Rachel Nichols on Thursday that he will re-sign with the Golden State Warriors this summer.

The continuation of course for the 110-102 primetime match-up comes from past year when LeBron James and crew were also denied a victory by Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and the rest of the GSW in Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals after suffering two back-to-back losses. "You can't have miscommunication, you can't have flaws ... because they're going to make you pay".

Don't overlook Draymond Green, "arguably one of the best defenders and minds in our game".

Curry's frustration likely stems from the fact that despite his glittering National Basketball Association resume involving two National Basketball Association championships, the star guard is yet to secure a Finals MVP trophy. "Too many fire power for the Warriors".

But - even with a strong performance from Rodney Hood off the bench - the Cavaliers couldn't capitalize.

"They have a number of guys that can bail their team out on any play, any game, any possession", Cleveland's Kevin Love said. Miami followed the blueprint of the Celtics, who teamed Paul Pierce with Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo. "I've just got to stay locked in". But he's not going anywhere, even mentally, until this series is over. Everybody knows how to put the ball in the hoop. He didn't think his shot was the biggest of the game. They had been victimized by Stephen Curry's Finals record nine three-pointers and went down in defeat by 122-103, falling 0-2 in the best-of-seven series.

The Warriors might be slamming the Cavs' championship window shut.

The Cavaliers had their chances in Game 1 and Game 3 of the series, but they came up short and are now on the verge of being swept to close out their season. "But I am confident that we can turn things around", said James on the eve of the third game. One of the items Hoffman asked Bryant was the team the future Hall of Famer thinks would best fit James in the future.

So the Cavs are behind. "Golden State with like 100 superheroes and then Houston with 100 superheroes and then they fight". Flip a coin. Some say he'll bolt.

It simply makes no real sense for this to happen.

And his presence continues to be the difference-maker.

"We got stagnant", Love said.

"Now everyone is trying to figure that out", James said. Francona, a Cavs season-ticket holder and avid hoops fan, has been excitedly counting down the days before the game. It's like playing the Patriots. Just a different vibe around the team, around just - everything's just different.
