Each Javelin has its own unique abilities and the game revolves around how your enemies have found a way to harness the Anthem of Creation. Community response to EA's decision resulted in the publisher backtracking on the extent to which additional paid add-ons would affect the player's experience in "Battlefront II" and future titles.

Previously, EA confirmed Anthem's delay to 2019, stating it has nothing to do with the game's development, rather it wants Anthem to compete on its own terms in its own release window that doesn't clash with other games such as Battlefield V. Apparently not, alas. Game Informer reports that BioWare's Anthem will feature zero smooching. Reminiscent of EA's Titanfall franchise, Anthem lets players use a customisable exo-suit called as a Javeline.

Many see it as the successor to BioWare's Mass Effect series, which has been killed off for the time being.

A more in-depth look at BioWare's upcoming RPG game Anthem revealed more about the game that was announced at last year's E3.

EA finished their pre-E3 conference with an extended look at the game through a trailer, and an interview with some developers and a gameplay footage.

Positively though, there will still be meaningful interactions with NPCs and players will have an easy way to find a squad even if they don't have three other Anthem-playing friends. More so when you consider that EA doesn't really have any big games slated for that time of the year. As far as microtransactions, there are no loot boxes and the declaration that players will always know exactly what they're purchasing. EA will, however, monetise the game through paid cosmetic modifications to Javelins, much like the skins in Fortnite.

You'll still be building relationships and maintaining friendships, but you won't be falling for any specific characters the way we did in BioWare's previous games.

Finally the game is given a February 2019 release date and it seems to be set in stone. A demo has been shown, with it being played by two players, and it looks like a nice step forward from the original. We also got to see some Anthem gameplay.
