Putin dismisses G7 criticism as 'babbling', calls for cooperation

Trump also reiterated Russia's support in a return to the G7 group, despite a negative reaction from other members of the group of the most developed economies in the world.

The President of Russian Federation came to China to attend the summit of heads of state of the Shanghai cooperation organization in Qingdao on June 9-10. "We share and agree with the United Kingdom's assessment that it is highly likely that the Russian Federation was responsible for the attack, and that there is no plausible alternative explanation", the G7 statement said.

"We will be ready to greet them all in Moscow", he added.

He emphasized that the bloc's members, who also include China, four ex-Soviet Central Asian nations, as well as India and Pakistan, are anxious about the US move. Trump was due to arrive in Singapore on Sunday ahead of a historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Speaking during a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Qingdao on Sunday, Putin emphasized that the bloc members are anxious about the USA move.
