Fortnite's One-Time Rocket Event Is Happening Tomorrow

Due to this, we'll be disabling Final Fight and re-enabling the 50v50 LTM at 10AM EDT. It looks like that rocket that can be found in the evil lair near Snobby Shores is about to launch in a real-time, one-time-only event that you'll need to make sure you're around in-game to see.

The back and forth between Epic and fans has been slightly confusing, as Epic said on Thursday that they had "made major improvements to our matchmaking service in order to handle the amount of you wanting to hop in the Playground LTM", according to the official "Fortnite" Twitter account.

As previously mentioned, the limited-time Playground mode also suffered from a series of issues following its launch and still hasn't returned to the rotation.

We'll update you as more information on Playground becomes available. While free, there are many opportunities for players to spend money to customize the game with weapons and outfits for their characters.

"Yesterday we launched the Playground LTM". But now we know that whatever is going to happen is going to happen live.

While Epic hasn't formally announced what will happen this Saturday, something else has been taking place on the island in recent days, and many Fortnite players suspect that the two are related.

The Fortnite Playground Mode, much like 50 v 50 and Final Fight, is now down, pending fixes.

The other team has to take down the big Leviathan before it's too late.

"Playground LTM launch was VERY popular and the poor matchmaker was trying to create and allocate matches faster than it could keep up with, so a backlog built up".
