The unaccredited "schoo-ol" was the subject of much legal scrutiny, ultimately resolved through settlements, but it looks like it'll also be the subject of Baron Cohen's next project.

The 36-second clip sees the US President slam the comedian, saying: This third rate character named Sacha Baron Cohen. The video is now Cohen's only tweet.

Way back in 2003, Cohen interviewed Trump while in character as Ali G. Trump, as expected, later tried to get away with a lie about being "the only person' to have ever immediately walked out of a Da Ali G Show interview".

Interestingly, one of the first replies to Cohen's clip comes from Pamela Anderson, who previously appeared as herself in Cohen's Borat!

Although Cohen's clip doesn't outright say it, the video implies that either Cohen or a character that Cohen created will go through some sort of education in a new movie or show, perhaps even Trump University. "He ought to be fired immediately".

The comedian trolled Trump on Twitter with an Independence Day message on Wednesday and teased his latest project, which apparently has something to do with the president's failed college, Trump University.

Cohen signaled in an interview with ABC News Monday that his loyalties were shifting away from Trump in order to protect his family. "Learn about being amusing", Trump continues.

Of the celebrities that have verbally opposed Donald Trump as President, Sacha Baron Cohen is arguably among the loudest. It is now unclear of how Sacha Baron Cohen got a hold of this unseen message from Donald Trump, which was likely filmed before he became President. Regardless of your political stance regarding President Trump, there's no denying that Sacha Baron Cohen is a master of comedy and is sure to bring out a number of humorous points in his next project.
