No Collusion: Rosenstein Indicts 12 Russians for Hacking, No Americans Involved

The top Democrat in the Senate is calling on President Donald Trump to cancel his coming meeting with Russia's Vladimir Putin in the wake of new charges that 12 Russian intelligence officers hacked into Democratic email accounts during the 2016 US presidential election.

Mueller, who has been investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion by the Trump campaign for more than a year, says the 12 defendants in Friday's indictment are members of the GRU, Russia's military intelligence agency.

"We are now hearing that 12 Russians have been indicted by the Justice Department", Mitchell announced as Trump was walking with the queen. "On the evening of June 15, 2016 between 4:19PM and 4:56PM, defendants used their Moscow-based server to search for a series of English words and phrases that later appeared in Guccifer 2.0's first blog post falsely claiming to be a lone Romanian hacker responsible for the hacks in the hopes of undermining the allegations of Russian involvement". Russian Federation has also denied any connection to the breach.

President Trump will have a one-on-one meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin next week and was briefed on the indictments earlier this week.

The intrusion into accounts of volunteers and employees of the Clinton campaign began in March 2016, then the DNC and DCCC were hacked. Putin's foreign affairs adviser, Yuri Ushakov, said earlier Friday that "the Russian state has never interfered and has no intention of interfering in the USA elections".

Mueller has secured indictments against several former Trump campaign aides, including former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, and former White House national security advisor Michael Flynn.

Rosenstein has been the focal point of controversy and tension after he took over the helm of the Russian Federation investigation, naming Robert Mueller to lead it, in the wake of the recusal of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. "Time for Mueller to end this pursuit of the President and say President Trump is completely innocent", Giuliani said in his tweet. They work for two units of the main intelligence directorate of the Russian GRU. The charges said that no Americans were knowingly in communication with any of the Russian intelligence officers.

But, we know that the person in charge of protecting us from Russian influence, President Donald Trump, does not care about that.

The charges include counts of criminal conspiracy, aggravated identity theft, conspiracy to launder money, and conspiracy to hack into the computers of state boards and elections. That company has spent months been wrangling access to evidence in the case - after prosecutors accused them of trying to obtain the evidence as part of a foreign intelligence effort.

Mr Trump, who is now visiting Britain, is scheduled to meet Mr Putin in Helsinki on Monday.

While U.S. intelligence agencies have long blamed Russian Federation for the hack, Friday's indictment lays out for the first time the details of how it is believed to have been carried out by two Moscow-based GRU departments, Units 26165 and 74455. Trump told reporters on his visit to the United Kingdom on Friday that he planned to "ask" Putin about Russia's attack on the election.
