Maurizio Sarri 'bored' by transfer market but wants to 'improve' Eden Hazard

Maurizio Sarri was unable to give guarantees over the futures of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois amid speculation the Belgian pair could leave Chelsea this summer.

This will be music to the board's ears as one of the reasons for Conte falling out badly with them shortly after guiding the club to the Premier League title in 2017 was his carping over a lack of say in buying new players and the ones being bought were not of the same level to those who left.

"I would like to meet these players face to face and talk to them and understand what the best thing is for everyone to do".

After several attempts to get Real Madrid to approach the London side to broker a deal done, Hazard dropped the biggest hint yet that he might not stay at Stamford Bridge past the summer. "I hope the quality of the players will allow me to have the results".

Ian Abrahams of talkSPORT added that the new manager plans to sit down with Hazard, Courtois, and Willian - the latter is linked with Barcelona - and won't call them because he wants to hear their plans in person.

"Clearly we would always like to keep all the strongest players".

"I think he [Hazard] is one of the top two or three European players".

"I can not name names, because I don't know", said Sarri at a press conference hosted on Wednesday afternoon.

After an incredible World Cup, rumours have been going rampant as clubs try and close out a few more deals before the transfer window closes.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has assured fans his English will improve.

Despite having won no silverware Sarri was named Serie A coach for the 2016/17 season and has praised Conte for what he had achieved in his two year spell at the club.

"I would like a player to be with me on the pitch for four or five days to see what the situation is. I hope I will improve Hazard too but this is hard". "We want to reach high-level objectives, but first we must have fun".

'For me it is an wonderful thing, ' Zola told Chelsea's official website. "Obviously, with this World Cup, I think what was on the table is different than what I can have".
