Tristan Thompson punched Draymond Green outside LA club

Tristan Thompson #13 of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Draymond Green #23 of the Golden State Warriors exchange words in overtime during Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals at ORACLE Arena on May 31, 2018 in Oakland, California.

The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers battled in the NBA Finals for four straight years. As the players were shaking hands on the court, Green snubbed Thompson and intentionally walked past him.

No argument. No squaring up. "It was more like a shove". A two-piece is described as a move that involves punching someone in the face with a fist first and then hitting them with an elbow all in the same swing. However, a report by The Athletic seems to indicate that it was more of a push or rather, a "face mush" than an actual punch.

Whatever it was, Green was incensed, according to the sources. Green took it a step further with interviews and soundbites in the days following, basically teasing and trolling Thompson to no end.

Again, the two separated before a full altercation could ensue.

And it was none other than their fellow teammates LeBron James and Kevin Durant that quickly stepped in to break up the fracas, we're told. I forgot Bron left.

"No, I don't wish any serious injury upon him. I really didn't care", followed by 10 emojis of somebody laughing so hard they are crying.

The punch was reportedly thrown at an afterparty following The ESPYs.

Green supposedly went up to Thompson on July 18 at the club to apologise for comments made after the series ended, but Thompson - who recently had a child with Khloe Kardashian - was not hearing it. You never want anyone getting injured, but certainly not in a bar fight with another player.
