Here's How The Bachelorette Is Handling Garrett's Social Media Scandal

Garrett Yrigoyen may have won Becca Kufrin's heart on "The Bachelorette", but a scandal that broke out while the show was airing had him seriously anxious he'd lose it.

Final dates: When dolphins leaped out of the sea during Becca's and Garrett's last date, as they lounged on a yacht, it seemed like a sign. It sounded like a softball question, but really, he was teeing up a rather uncomfortable moment.

Despite an entire segment that followed about this topic, the show didn't actually explain what Garrett meant with "stuff" - which is a pretty crucial detail.

This became quite the controversy online, and almost overshadowed the actual show.

At the time, Kufrin asked fans to give Yrigoyen a chance. When asked on the live finale episode if he was still in love with Kufrin, Horstmann said that he will always have love for her.

"I didn't realize the effect behind a double tap or a like on Instagram". She didn't let my Instagram define who I am as a person. The season 14 Bachelorette handed out the final rose to the Reno, Nevada, native during the Monday August 6 finale of the hit ABC show. And I don't just mean tearing up at the thought of the tragic loss of a family member - I'm talking weeping through short sentences about his two-month "journey" with a total stranger.

Another detail left out of this segment? Ultimately, when the cast assembles itself, her bachelor of choice is nowhere to be found. Dismay quickly adds to her disappointment when the first date card has this particular girl's name on it, and everyone is shocked when she decides to take another castaway from Becca's season on a romantic escapade.

Bachelorette correspondent Mariah Smith couldn't help but note just how much Becca and Kayla look alike in her recap of the wedding video.

Speaking exclusively with Variety, alongside his fiancé, Kufrin, the day after "The Bachelorette" finale, Yrigoyen says he does not carry the beliefs expressed in the controversial Instagram posts. "You've made me know that I can fall in love again". We got through that together and we're growing'.

While most of the contestants on season 5 of "Bachelor in Paradise" are familiar faces, you may not remember the gorgeous Angela Amezcua. Garrett admitted it crossed his mind. "We talked through a lot of things and they were there for me".

"I've been waiting to say it to the right person", she continued. I've know people who have a 'type, ' but this is eerie.

Harrison empathized, saying that because it happened during the season, Garrett couldn't defend himself from the people "attacking" him.

Yrigoyen, a Reno, Nevada-based medical sales representative, 29, dropped down on one knee and asked for Kufrin's hand in marriage after Kufrin said three magic words.

"I was #TeamGarrett until he said the Parkland victims were crisis actors. He's really everything I could want in a partner".

Blake is the first one at the dock, which means he's not getting picked and the viewing population knows for the final hour and 20 minutes who wins, yet we still watch. "Anything that's come about, or just dealing with anything, that's how we address it - head on".
