Apple introduces iPhones with dual SIM trays only in China

The iPhone XS Max starts at $1.099, and will also be available for pre-order on September 14. 2018 was an aberration as most people sitting in the audience let out an nearly gasp like noise collectively when a certain feature of the Apple Watch 4 was revealed. "We expect the iPhone XS Max to have exactly the same effect despite its price tag".

Apple iPhone XR will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models in white, black, blue, yellow, coral and (PRODUCT) RED starting at Rs 76,900.

By manufacturing more expensive iPhones, Apple has been able to boost profits despite falling demand due to people upgrading their phones less frequently. iPhones fetched an average price of $724 during the April-June period this year, a 20 percent increase from a year earlier.

The XS and XS Max are 5.8 inches and 6.5 inches respectively, with users able to choose between the gold, silver, and space grey colours.

Apple also announced that market excluding China would receive the eSIM + nanoSIM version of the iPhones, while the Chinese market will get a new model of the iPhones with a dual nanoSIM option.

The screens on the iPhone XS and XS Max have 60% greater dynamic range than the iPhone X.

iPhone XR design and features: What does the iPhone XR look like? It also boasts a 1792 by 828 resolution at 326 PPI (pixels per inch) and is described by the company as having a "Liquid Retina" display.

With the launch of the iPhone XS, Apple also advances some existing features, such as making face recognition operate faster than before, with the phone's TrueDepth perception in its front camera.

The iPhone 9 is expected to be the entry-level model to the 2018 lineup with a fullscreen 6.1-inch LCD display and Apple's FaceID sitting on a notch on top.

Apple has given the A12 bionic processor in both of these smartphones, which is a six-core chipset.

This even-bigger iPhone, which will be available on September 21 - with orders open the week before - represents Apple's attempt to feed consumers' appetite for increasingly larger screens as they rely on smartphones to watch and record video, as well as take photos wherever they are. You still get the dual-camera setup on the back, but with larger sensors, and a new Smart HDR feature that should make photography much easier. Another new addition is the Fall Detection feature.

To mention some of its more impressive and useful upgrades, the Apple Watch Series 4 seems to work harder for your health, with its new ability to detect hard falls, and even take an ECG reading from your wrist.

Apple also has a raft of new screen displays and new hardware.

As the size has grown, so too has the price, debuting at £269 in its first outing, and going as high as £1,499 for the highest spec on the new iPhone XS Max.
