Ariana Grande Pulls Out of Cancer Benefit Amid Personal Turmoil

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's hot and heavy romance may have been their undoing.

The celebrity couple has split and called off the engagement, sources told TMZ. Sources close to the couple reportedly told The Blast Grande needs time to "work on herself". Those are the details that have leaked so far. The two then went on a very public love fest, culminating in several tattoos, a pet pig, an SNL sketch, and speculation about the size of Davidson's member.

However, Grande expressed via social media that she was having a hard time recently while she called off several appearances too.

Davidson's reps did not immediately respond to EW's requests for confirmation.

She bowed out of an appearance with Davidson at the 2018 Emmy Awards after the tragedy, with her representative stating she would be taking "some much needed time to heal and mend".

Engaged since May - weeks after meeting - the couple is reportedly on good terms and they still "have love for each other".

Their engagement came as a shock to many as she had just split with boyfriend of two years, Mac Miller in May. "I'm kidding, but like in 10 years, God forbid if that ever happened, there will be a song called Pete Davidson, like playing in speakers at K-Mart and I'll be working there". And Grande told British Vogue in May that she was still suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome stemming from the suicide bombing that killed 22 people at her 2017 concert in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Still, Grande and Davidson have appeared to be quite close recently, with Davidson referencing her and their relationship in a segment on "Weekend Update" during SNL's September 29 season premiere.
