Winning numbers for $667 million Mega Millions jackpot

Mega Millions officials say no tickets matched all 6 numbers to claim the estimated $667 million grand prize in Tuesday night's drawing.

If there was a winning ticket sold for Tuesday night's drawing, the victor would have received a $667 million jackpot.

The numbers drawn Tuesday night were 69, 45, 61, 3, 49, and the Mega Ball was 9.

THe jackpot, according to the AP, is expected to climb to $868 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot has grown with each of the 23 semi-weekly drawings that failed to producer a top victor since July 24, when an 11-member office pool in Santa Clara County, California, hit a $543 million jackpot.

If the victor chooses the annuity option, the jackpot would be paid out over 29 years.

The immediate cash value of the Mega Millions prize, which winners can opt to take, is $494.5 million.

Now, for a bit of a spoiler: A jackpot ticket was not sold in California, California Lottery officials said late Tuesday.

And in 2009, Steve Williams of Shenandoah, Virginia, won a Mega Millions jackpot worth a cool $200 million.

The Tuesday drawing had grown to the largest in the game's history, a whopping $667 million.

The largest Powerball jackpot was $1.586 billion, which was shared by winners in California, Florida and Tennessee in January 2016.

The jackpot had swelled because nobody has won since July 24.

If no jackpot victor emerges from Tuesday night's drawing, the estimated annuity value for Friday, Oct. 19's drawing will increase to $868 million, with an estimated cash value of $495 million. The store received $1 million from Mega Millions for making the sale.
