Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry have been visiting New Zealand, Australia, Fiji and Tonga, as part of their first global state tour together.

Find out how the New Zealand Prime Minister got involved in the brief but heartwarming exchange.

The former "Suits" star explains in "A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex" how her fiancé wanted her bridal bouquet to include a personal touch: flowers from their Kensington Palace residence.

Prince Harry sweetly assisted Meghan Markle as they started their day at the North Shore in Redvale, New Zealand.

Hannah Sergel, from Christchurch, New Zealand, first spoke to Meghan on social media in 2016.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex then spent more than their allotted 30 minutes meeting the crowds outside.

"I said to Meghan "try to keep it forward and not too high".

Nelson Poll, 11, was on Meghan's team and said: "I think Harry's technique was better - it was straight forward instead of going at an angle". Additionally, the Duchess closed her remarks by quoting Kate Sheppard, one of the New Zealand women's suffrage movement's key figures: "All that separates - whether of race, class, creed or sex - is inhuman and must be overcome".

Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, also received a raft of gifts during the walkabout, including an All Blacks onesie for their baby, which is due in the northern hemisphere's spring. What she didn't realize was that her skirt was totally see through, showing off more than what she had anticipated as royal fans caught a glimpse of what she was wearing underneath.

While leaving the Viaduct Harbour in Auckland alongside Prince Harry on Tuesday Meghan spotted a familiar face in the crowed and walked on over to say hi. They announced that she was expecting the couple's first child on the first day of their tour.
