OnePlus 6T is now available to purchase

T-Mobile for the first time is offering a OnePlus-branded smartphone from China to US buyers as it debuts the flagship OnePlus 6T starting November 1 for $580.

If you're on Verizon and have been waiting for your chance to use a OnePlus phone, this is the year you've been waiting for. T-Mobile is also able to offer a few things that OnePlus can not, when it comes to purchasing the new phone. If you are not a T-Mobile customer, you can still pick it up at OnePlus' website and also use it on your favorite carrier. Yes, the Nightscape feature is pretty cool, but the OnePlus 6 got it via an update a couple of days ago. Now in 2018, a lot of them have followed suite.

You should also know that the OnePlus 6T phone comes with a 6.41-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. For example, its camera could be better and the lack of features such as wireless charging, water resistance and a headphone jack is definitely disappointing.

The OnePlus 6T also comes with some truly unique features like its in-display fingerprint reader and its tiny, teardrop-shaped notch, which is about 1/8th the size of the notch on the Apple iPhone XS.

In an earlier blog post, CEO Pete Lau had explained that the company had tried to implement the feature on the OnePlus 5T, but it struggled with accuracy.

A tiny sensor sits below the screen, it's invisible to the naked eye. T-Mobile says it is the only USA mobile carrier to be offering the handset directly to buyers in the United States. You can also switch your own phone to T-Mobile, which will allow you to save up to 50 percent. And, at a sweet deal. If OnePlus brings these features to the OnePlus 6, it would be a really great move, especially, considering how OnePlus 6 users don't have a good reason to upgrade to the OnePlus 6T, when most of the hardware is the same. It's locked to T-Mobile's network and only has one SIM slot. For that functionality, you'll have to purchase it directly from OnePlus.

Anyone looking for a powerful Android handset that is still affordable should look no further than the OnePlus 6T.

There are plenty of 6T deals on the market right now but make sure you add everything up before committing to what could end up being a very expensive contract.
