Paris Saint-Germain duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe were both were substituted due to injuries while playing for their respective countries on Tuesday night.

Neymar Ltd's trip to Milton Keynes has ended prematurely as he was forced to limp out of Brazil's friendly with Cameroon after just seven minutes of play.

The French club are at home to Toulouse on Saturday and will hope to extend their record-breaking start to the Ligue 1 season with a 14th consecutive victory, before playing Liverpool on November 28.

All four sides could still qualify for the knockout phase from Group C. Liverpool have the same number of points as leaders Napoli while PSG sit third, one point behind Liverpool and one point ahead of Red Star Belgrade.

The Paris St-Germain player was substituted after tweaking his groin as he shot at goal with seven minutes gone in the worldwide match at Milton Keynes in England.

Brazil doctor Rodrigo Lasmar eased fears over Neymar's fitness, telling SporTV: "It does not appear to be a serious injury".

"He came off complaining of pain", said Lasmar.

A 1v1 challenge with Uruguay goalkeeper Martin Campana felled the 19-year-old Mbappe, and France coach Didier Deschamps did not have a decent prognosis.

"He felt a discomfort, he will need a bit more time to evaluate it and take a scan, but in principle, it's not a serious injury", he said.
Thanks to all who sent me messages wishing me a good recovery, I think it was nothing serious.
