Watch Jose Mourinho's incredible reaction to Young Boys victor

Jose Mourinho says he will walk to Old Trafford again if traffic delays Manchester United's coach before their Champions League match with Young Boys.

United drew the game 0-0 with Palace and Nicol says that shows the players are not listening to their manager. They can't score at home against the likes of Wolves and Palace and it's at home where scoring goals has been a big problem'.

As he plans to crank up the pressure on his players to secure a victory against Young Boys, Mourinho was asked if his players prefer to play away rather than at home due to the expectations of United's 75,000-plus supporters at Old Trafford. Always. I always prefer to play at home. I would say immediately to play at home.

"If you feel pressure, stay at home - and when I say home, I don't say stadium home, I say home home and watch on TV", Mourinho said. "When the people come to support, come on".

"I wasn't going to come in and change all the things Alex had done, but there were lots of things that had to be changed at the club".

A rehabilitated relationship with Mourinho is key to that, but the manager recently suggested that the left-back, along with Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford, did not have the character or personality to compete at the highest level.

"What I want is a team to start strong, not waiting", Mourinho added. You or the fans probably think Jose told [the players] to start slow and nice and easy, or to wait to react. It is exactly the opposite. "I want to play tomorrow like it's a knockout game - like we have to win".

"What do the board think when they hear a manager whose basically telling them that his players don't listen to a word he says? We all want to be the best team we can be and we all want to win trophies".

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof is expected to miss about a month due to a thigh injury he picked up against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

"So Jones, Smalling and Bailly are the three we have".

Mourinho is understood to have told his squad that his words were taken out of context but several players did not see it that way, even if anger and resentment at the manager's persistent rebukes is starting to give way to apathy and indifference now. "But I want to play from minute one like it is the last chance we have to qualify", Mourinho said.
