The company said it expected to hit a billion devices with Assistant by the end of the month on over 10,000 different devices from more than 1,000 brands. What's more, the Assistant will even auto-punctuate your messages now, so you don't have to dictate punctuation marks as well.

The consumers can also save and retrieve boarding pass, all with the Google Assistant on Android or iOS. At the time, the company said that it was aiming to roll out support for the Google Assistant in 2018.

Finally, Google Assistant is coming to Google Maps.

Google stated the feature will arrive on Google Home devices "over the next few weeks". The Google Assistant is smart enough to understand the context and the whole experience was very slick. The Assistant will show you the pricing, availability and the works, which you can book using Google Pay. Like, the Sonos One and Sonos Beam speakers will be getting the Assistant. It can connect with any car's on-board infotainment system via Bluetooth or auxiliary cable.

All of us know about the annoying flight check-in process.

Google Assistant routines allow you to trigger multiple actions with a single phrase.

Earlier this year, Google launched the Home Hub that's basically a voice-activated touchscreen mounted on top of a stand and can play YouTube videos, show recipes and handle other common commands like showing the weather, traffic updates and more.

Also, the Assistant will also intuitively notify you when the flight is ready for check-in. The ability to check into flights is rolling out for domestic United Airlines flights first, just like the hotel booking tool.
