Sarri frustration over Chelsea transfer policy continues to grow

The 18-year-old winger, whose contract expires in June 2020, has been linked with a big money move to the Bundesliga giants. "So they didn't respect our club, I think", Sarri told reporters on Friday.

Sarri, who celebrated his 60th birthday on Thursday, is not a fan of the winter transfer window.

"We play every three days, so we need something else".

But the best solution for Chelsea could be to bring in a left-back of Sarri's choosing in either January or the summer and one outstanding candidate should spring to mind. "I think that is normal because in a club you have time to organise a team, but in the national team you have no time so it is very hard to see an organised team in the Euros or World Cup". "In my opinion, we need two players", he said.

"Then it depends on the club decision".

"But I don't know anything about the market day by day or minute by minute".

He's a player Sarri knows well having worked with him at Napoli and the club are known to be on the lookout for a new striker to replace Alvaro Morata who appears to be reaching the end of his time with Sarri. I am happy with the player because he is improving, improving a lot in the defensive phase.

Asked where he felt Chelsea needed reinforcements, Sarri said: "As you can understand, I cannot tell you where".

"At the moment, for his mental condition, he's not able to play".

"Willian for us is really very important. I think it's impossible to lose him in January". The German club have made multiple offers for Hudson-Odoi, including one this week of £35m. It was 1993 when they last failed to score in three successive home league games.

The Blues were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final and have been criticised for their struggles in front of goal.

Sarri stopped short of confirming the positions of said players.
